ITINERARY FOR EXPERIENCE NEPAL TOUR

Day 1: Kathmandu – 1300m altitude- Nepali Ghar

Arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport at Kathmandu and meet, assists and transfer to the hotel by our representative. Welcome drinks on arrival and briefing of a tour program. Overnight at Nepali Ghar, Hotel is designed and crafted in a traditional way to provide an authentic Nepalese experience whilst meeting the modern comfort, technology and facilities

Day 2: Cultural Tour and sightseeing at Pashupatinath & Aarati (B)

After breakfast starts full day sightseeing in UNESCO heritage sites. Sightseeing at Bouddhanath- World biggest stupa, one of the holiest Buddhist pilgrimage where all devout Buddhists come for a pilgrimage, Patan Durbar Square- which is a distinct place for arts and architecture that reflect on each temple, monument and palace building that were mostly built during the Malla period between 16th, 17th and 18th and Swayambhunath- A Monkey Temple from where you can see the magnificent views of Kathmandu Valley and tribute to Buddhism. Rest of the time is free on your own.

In the evening drive to Pashupatinath Temple, a famous, sacred Hindu temple dedicated to Pashupatinath is located on the banks of the Bagmati. This “extensive Hindu temple precinct” is a “sprawling collection of temples, ashrams, images and inscriptions raised over the centuries. Observe an Aarati at the Bank of Bagmati River

Day 3: Bandipur: Newar Cultural Village (B)

Today we drive to Bandipur for around 5-6 hours. Bandipur is the Newar Cultural Village, presents with a heavy mix of history, architecture, incredible views, awesome caves and unspoiled landscapes. You can take a view of a beautiful chain of mountains Dhaulagiri, Machhapuchhre, Langtang, Manaslu and Ganesh Himal from Tundikhel. Evening walk around admiring the vistas, chat with the friendly local people, and admire their local way of life

Day 4: Bandipur – Pokhara – 900m altitude, Visit World Peace Pagoda (B)

You can explore Bandipur village in the morning. After Breakfast drive to Pokhara. Pokhara is a remarkable place of natural beauty, situated at an altitude of 900m from the sea level and 200km west of Kathmandu valley. The enchanting town has several beautiful lakes and offers stunning panoramic views of Himalayan peaks. The serenity of lakes and the magnificence of the Himalayas rising behind them create an ambiance of peace and magic.

You will visit World Peace Pagoda for around 45 minutes. Enjoy the beautiful view of Pokhara city and Himalayan views from Stupa.

Day 5: Pokhara-Phedi and trek to Dhampus-4 hours trekking (B, L, D)

After Breakfast, drive to Phedi for 45 minutes and walking through sparse villages, farm terraces and a short stretch of woods we reach to the Dhampus hill after few hours of walk. Dhampus is a small, ethnic Gurung village. A hike to Dhampus will give an opportunity to watch the daily lives of these villagers from milching the buffaloes to their daily works on the farms. Day 6: Dhampus-Australian Camp-Kande: 4 hours walk, drive back to Pokhara (B, L)

By walking across the village you will reach to Australian Camp after an hour walk. The camp is center of Dhampus Jungle. Australian Camp provides great Jungle scenery and similar views as Poonhill like Annapurna South, Fishtail, Mt Dhaulagiri, Tukuche peak, Dhampus Peak, Nilgiri and Himchuli. After lunch at Australian Camp trek to down to Kande and drive back to Pokhara. Evening scrolling around the lakeside or we can hire a bicycle and ride along the bank of Phewa Lake

Day 7: Pokhara Sightseeing (B)

After Breakfast start half day sightseeing at Bindhyabasini Temple: dedicated to Goddess, Bhagawati, and another manifestation of Shati, Gupteshower Cave- popular for the different natural forms made from limestone deposits and Devi’s Fall –a famous waterfall in Pokhara, which comes to its gushing best just before disappearing underground

Day 8: Pokhara – Lumbini (B)

After Breakfast drive to Lumbini, which takes around 6-7 hour drive. Lumbini – the birthplace of Lord Buddha and the founder of Buddhism, known as Buddha or the enlightened one. In case we reach Lumbini around the sunset time, we can stroll in the local market to have a glimpse into the local lifestyle.  Overnight at Lumbini

Day 9: Explore Lumbini (B)

Early morning visits the Mayadevi temple which is built on the exact place where Buddha was born. We spend some time wandering around the gardens. We also visit the museum and peace pagoda. Visit newly built many Buddhist temples by different nation: – Tibetan, Chinese, Japanese and Burmese, Korean, etc.  Monasteries like: – Chinese Monastery, Korean Monastery, Royal Thai Monastery, Ashoka Pillar, Myanmar Monastery.

Day 10: Drive to Chitwan: 4 hours (B, L, D)

After breakfast drive to Chitwan for around 4 hours. After checking in to the hotel and getting refreshed you will be briefed about full nature programs by our naturalist guide. Then we head on for activities. There will be a guided village walk and a walk on the banks of the Rapti River to watch the charming sunset views in the sub-tropical jungle. In the evening, dinner with a cultural program by ethnic tribal people with their stick dance and tribal drums. Overnight at Chitwan.

Day 11: Chitwan (B, L, D)

Wakeup call with cup of hot tea/coffee. After breakfast on your choice visit to the elephant breading center to see baby elephants with bird watching in river bank, go for Canoe ride along the Rapti River. An excellent opportunity for bird watching and for seeing the 2 rare species of crocodiles; the Marsh Mugger and the only fish eating Gharial then you will be taken to real nature walk with different type’s vegetation to see many different types of floras and faunas. Before lunch you can take a leisurely relax little while. After lunch go for Jeep safari, an excellent opportunity to see four different kinds of deer, rhinoceros, monkeys, leopard, sloth bear, and the Royal Bengal Tiger. You will also encounter many other smaller mammals that have made Chitwan their home. Evening Slide presentation: One of our jungle experts will introduce background data and history of the Chitwan National Park as well as some other topics relating to wildlife. Overnight at Chitwan.

Day 12: Kathmandu, further drive to Bhaktapur (B)

After Breakfast drive to back to Kathmandu for around 6 hours. And take a 1 hour more drive to reach, the city of Devotee or the medieval town, Bhaktapur. Check into Hotel Heritage

Day 13: Bhaktapur Sightseeing, Nagarkot (B)

After Breakfast visit, Bhaktapur, the medieval town or the city of the Devotees, preserves medieval arts, architecture, culture, and lifestyle to this date. Bhaktapur Durbar Square is the best preserved one of the Valley’s three Durbar Squares.  One is sure to feel like traveling back into the past while walking along the Bhaktapur thoroughfares, squares and streets. Visit Bhaktapur Durbar Square, Taumadi Square and Pottery Square

Drive to Nagarkot for around 1 hour. Nagarkot is very famous for an overnight stay away from hustle and bustle of the city. It offers a magnificent view of Himalayan ranges in clear weather.

Day 14: Sunrise view from Nagarkot, Kathmandu, Typical Nepal Dinner (B, D)

Early in the morning, we enjoy the charming sunrise view & amazing surrounding landscapes, forests, Mountain View and the clear horizon. After Breakfast drive back to Kathmandu. Free time is given to scroll and shopping around the Thamel. Evening we will go for Typical Nepali Dinner with a cultural show by different ethnic group. It continues for 3 hours.

Day 15: Departure (B)

Approximately 3 hours before your scheduled flight a representative from Aarya Village Travel will transfer you to the airport for final departure to your home country.
